Laboratory Incubator — Controlled Temperature Biological Testing

The Laboratory Incubator is used to maintain a controlled temperature environment for microbial culture growth, biological assays, stability studies, BOD testing of water samples, and enzyme reactions in pharmaceutical, environmental, and microbiological laboratories. The thermostatically controlled chamber provides uniform temperature between 5°C above ambient and 60°C, without air circulation fans that could disturb cell culture plates.

BOD Incubator (Special Application)

For Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) testing of water and wastewater (IS 3025 Part 44, APHA Standard Methods), a BOD incubator set at 20 ± 1°C for 5 days (BOD5) is required. Our BOD-specific incubators have tighter temperature uniformity (±0.2°C) and a larger capacity to hold multiple 300 mL BOD bottles simultaneously.
