Weberconnect Light Weight Deflectometer

The Weberconnect is a portable Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD) used to measure the dynamic plate load bearing capacity (Evd) of compacted subgrades, sub-bases, and granular fill layers during road and railway construction. It delivers a standardised impulse load via a falling weight and measures surface deflection to calculate the Evd modulus in MPa — providing instant compaction quality verification without the delays of traditional static plate load tests.

Weberconnect vs PRIMA-100

Both are 10 kg LWDs with 72 cm drop height and interchangeable plates. The Weberconnect adds Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone app integration for paperless site reporting and GPS-tagged test records — making it the preferred choice for projects requiring digital QC documentation. The PRIMA-100 (ID 494) uses a handheld controller with direct readout.
