Dowel Bar SCAN2-BT – Rail-Guided Dowel Bar Scanner

The Dowel Bar SCAN2-BT is a precision, rail-guided non-destructive testing system for verifying the position, depth, lateral shift, and rotation of dowel bars and tie bars embedded in concrete pavements. It is widely used in highway, airport, and runway QA/QC programmes across India and internationally.

How It Works

SCAN2-BT uses electromagnetic induction to locate steel dowel bars inside hardened concrete without drilling or coring. The rail-guided carriage moves across a precisely defined track, scanning multiple dowel bar positions in a single pass. Wireless Bluetooth data acquisition transmits results directly to the MagnoProof software.
