The Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker uses an electromagnetic drive (not a rotating motor) to generate a precisely controlled three-dimensional vibration — vertical oscillation plus horizontal rotation — that separates particles through stacked IS/BS/ASTM sieves more efficiently and repeatably than conventional mechanical shakers. The amplitude and frequency are independently adjustable, making it suitable for fine powders, cohesive soils, and pharmaceutical granules where gentle but thorough separation is required.

Electromagnetic vs Mechanical Shaker

Mechanical eccentric-weight shakers produce a single circular vibration pattern. The electromagnetic shaker adds a vertical tapping action that dislodges blinded particles from sieve apertures — critical for fine sieves (75 μm, 150 μm) where blinding can cause 5–10% error in fine content. It is the preferred method for NABL-accredited fineness testing.
