The Double Acting Hydraulic Jack (600 Tonne / 6,000 kN) is a medium-to-heavy-duty centre-hole hydraulic cylinder used for post-tensioning of prestressed concrete structures, pile load testing, structural load application, and bridge bearing replacement operations. The 600 T capacity covers the majority of bored pile tests (typically 2× design load = 400–600 T for piles of 600–800 mm diameter) and most post-tensioning applications for building and bridge projects.

Choosing Between 600T and 1000T

The 600 T jack is preferred for standard building pile tests (typically 200–400 T test load), most post-tensioning applications, and situations where weight is a constraint on the test frame. The 1,000 T jack is required for large diameter piles (900 mm+), bridge main pier piles, and load tests exceeding 600 T.
