The Hydraulic Monostrand Jack is a single-strand post-tensioning jack used to stress individual 12.7 mm or 15.2 mm diameter prestressing strands (tendons) in unbonded post-tensioned slabs, beams, and ground anchors. It operates as a centre-hole hydraulic cylinder, gripping the strand with a wedge chuck, applying tensile force to the required jacking load, and then locking the strand at the live end anchor using the wedge system.
