60-Litre Laboratory Concrete Mixer

The 60-Litre Concrete Mixer is a tilting drum pan mixer designed for mid-size concrete mix design trials, larger batch cube casting, and mortar mixing in construction testing laboratories. The larger 60 L capacity over the standard 40 L model allows more specimens to be cast from a single batch — improving consistency across cube sets and reducing test variability.

When to Choose 60L vs 40L

The 60 L mixer is preferred when casting 6+ cubes per batch for statistical compliance testing (IS 456 requires minimum 3 cubes per sample, with 2 samples typically taken per batch). The extra capacity eliminates the need for successive smaller batches that can introduce variation in w/c ratio.
