Schmidt Rebound Hammer for non-destructive in-situ concrete strength estimation. Type N (2.207 Nm) and Type L (0.735 Nm) available. Digital models with Bluetooth also available. IS 13311 Part 2 / ASTM C805 / EN 12504-2 compliant. Supplied with anvil calibration block by JS Civil Lab Solutions.
The Schmidt Rebound Hammer is the most widely used non-destructive testing (NDT) instrument for in-situ estimation of concrete compressive strength and concrete uniformity. JS Civil Lab Solutions supplies Type N and Type L rebound hammers by leading brands, along with anvil calibration blocks and carry cases for complete site-ready packages.
A spring-loaded plunger strikes the concrete surface and the rebound distance is measured on a linear scale (R-value). Higher R-values indicate harder, stronger concrete. The compressive strength is estimated from conversion charts (EN 13791, IS 13311, ASTM C805) or product-specific correlation curves.
IS 13311 Part 2, ASTM C805, EN 12504-2, BS 1881-202.
