The Road Condition Survey System is a vehicle-mounted multi-sensor platform used to simultaneously collect pavement distress data — cracking, rutting, IRI roughness, and visual condition imagery — at normal traffic speed. High-resolution line-scan cameras capture the full carriageway width, GPS records continuous chainage, and the onboard processor generates automated distress reports and PCI (Pavement Condition Index) scores.
