Road Condition Survey System — Pavement Distress Mapping

The Road Condition Survey System is a vehicle-mounted multi-sensor platform used to simultaneously collect pavement distress data — cracking, rutting, IRI roughness, and visual condition imagery — at normal traffic speed. High-resolution line-scan cameras capture the full carriageway width, GPS records continuous chainage, and the onboard processor generates automated distress reports and PCI (Pavement Condition Index) scores.

Output

Automated detection of cracking, rutting, potholes, patching, edge breaks, and bleeding. PCI scoring per ASTM D6433. Section-level reports with distress density maps, maintenance priority lists, and budget estimating.
