Digital Pull Out Tester – In-Situ Concrete Bond Strength Testing

The Digital Pull Out Tester measures the in-situ tensile bond strength of concrete, concrete repair mortars, adhesive anchors, and embedded bolts by applying a direct tensile force to a surface-fixed disc or pre-embedded insert. It provides a fast, reliable, and minimally invasive alternative to core extraction for concrete strength verification.

How It Works

A dolly (disc) is bonded to the concrete surface using high-strength epoxy adhesive. After curing (typically 24 hours), the pull out tester applies an axial tensile force via a hydraulic ram. The force at failure (in kN or MPa) is displayed digitally and recorded. A partial core cut around the dolly with a diamond core bit eliminates surface coating influence and gives a purer concrete bond reading.
