The CFME T-5 is a full-size, heavy-duty continuous friction measurement trailer designed for large-scale pavement network surveys on national highways, expressways, and airport runways. It measures the sideway force friction coefficient (SFC) using a fixed slip-angle test wheel and onboard water delivery system, enabling continuous high-speed skid resistance profiling.

The T-5 is suited to large network-level surveys on high-speed corridors where continuous survey without stopping to refill water is critical. The T2GO is more compact and agile for shorter sections or airport surveys. Both systems output comparable SFC data.
