Accelerated curing tank for early concrete strength prediction per IS 9103 and BS 1881 Part 111. 55°C warm-water method, digital thermostat ±1°C, SS 304 interior. JS Civil Lab Solutions India.
The Accelerated Curing Tank is used for warm-water accelerated curing of concrete cube specimens to predict 28-day compressive strength from early-age test results as per IS 9103 and BS 1881 Part 111. Cubes are immersed at 55°C (warm-water method) for a defined period and then tested. The accelerated strength is correlated to the estimated 28-day value using established regression equations.
JS Civil Lab Solutions supplies stainless steel accelerated curing tanks with thermostat control for concrete QC labs where rapid batch acceptance is required.
Cast specimens are left in moulds for initial set (~1 hour), then demoulded and immersed in the tank at 55°C for 5.5 hours. After curing, cool in water for 1 hour and test. Apply the IS 9103 correlation factor to estimate 28-day strength. This allows batch acceptance decisions within 8 hours rather than 28 days.
