A1040 MIRA Ultrasonic Tomography System

The A1040 MIRA Ultrasonic Tomography system by Proceq (formerly Acoustic Control Systems) is a state-of-the-art 3D ultrasonic imaging device for non-destructive testing of concrete structures. It uses a dry-coupled phased array of transducers to generate 2D and 3D images of the interior of concrete without requiring access to the opposite face — making it unique among concrete NDT tools.

• Concrete thickness — in walls, slabs, foundations, and tunnels
• Rebar position and depth — without surface contact interference
• Internal voids, honeycombing and delamination
• Post-tension duct location and grout condition
• Cracks and defects from one side only (SAFT algorithm)
