The LTL-3500 is an advanced handheld retroreflectometer for measuring the retroreflectivity of road markings under both dry and wet conditions as per EN 1436, ASTM E1710, and IRC SP:35. In addition to standard dry RL measurement, the LTL-3500 includes a built-in water spray system to simulate wet-night visibility — a critical safety parameter on expressways where wet-weather accidents are disproportionately high.

The LTL-3000 measures dry retroreflectivity (RL) only. The LTL-3500 adds wet retroreflectivity (RW) measurement via integrated water spray, making it the preferred instrument for projects requiring EN 1436 RW compliance — including airport runways, expressways, and tunnels.
